Registration is on a "first come...first served" basis. Once a grade is full, registration is closed for that particular grade. However, students may be placed on a waiting list.
For further information regarding the upcoming school year, please call the school office at (212) 362-5410.

In addition to the completed application and a $100 non-refundable registration fee, the following documents must be presented to register:

  • Proof of Immunization
  • Birth Certificate
  • Child's Social Security Card
  • Parent/Guardian's Social Security Card
  • Most recent report card
  • Letter of Recommendation (for Grades 2-8)

Note: You may also bring your child's Baptismal Certificate if he/she will be receiving First Holy Communion or Confirmation at St. Gregory's.

Potential students for grades one through eight are required to take an entrance examination that evaluates their academic aptitude in the areas of Reading and Mathematics.

The entrance examination and application will be reviewed and the parent/guardian will be notified about the status of the student via mail.

Students applying to grades six through eight are required to interview with the junior high school faculty and/or the principal.

Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten children receive individual, age-appropriate evaluations conducted by the classroom teachers as a basis for admission.

Children seeking admission to the Pre-kindergarten must be at least three years of age by September 1st and must be toilet trained.  Children applying for Kindergarten must be at least four years and nine months of age by September 1st.
